These sessions are suitable for complete beginners or those who have taken a beginners course with me.
As a working mother I understand we can’t all commit to regular classes nor afford private training. With this in mind, I’ve developed a range of courses specifically for women.
This new 12 week course is a great way to learn Krav Maga and gain valuable self defence skills in a manageable space of time.
Krav Maga will also increase your awareness and teach you how to handle confrontation – dealing with situations before they escalate.
This may be women only, but this is no pink and fluffy self-defence – it's the same Krav Maga principals and techniques, designed specifically for the physical threats women face.
Over the course you will learn the skills necessary to deal with common threats and attacks in all sorts of environments. Included in the 12 hourly weekly sessions:
- Learn how to defend yourself against punches, slaps and grabs
- Use effective counter attacks
- Learn to be aware of potential dangers, prevention and avoidance
- Deal with situations before they escalate
- The program incorporates the psychology of self-defence
- Techniques against bear hugs and chokes
- Using common objects in self defence
- Fighting from the ground
- Weapon threats
The physical threats faced by women differ to those faced by men.
For this reason, I offer a unique women only Krav Maga training programme.
